This weekend across the USA, PBS is playing the Idina Menzel live concert. She tells a little story about how nervous she was to sing in front of her idol. Idina says, after the performance she was lucky enough to be seated at BARBRA's table. Sadly, she said Barbra ignored her and didn't speak to her. As Barbra was getting up to leave, she says it Idina "do you sing for me ?". "yes". BARBRA, " we'll, I did not wear my glasses so I couldn't see anything... You were good". Idina then said she left. Thoughts? It's disappointing to hear this but not suprising to me, IMO. These type of stories are present thru Barbra whole career. Idina didn't say she anything, but I get the sense that she was a little surprised at her behavior and response.
