Barbra/Columbia has given us 7 live albums spanning 45 years (8, counting One Night Only). Which one is everyone's favorite? Frustratingly, I don't think Barbra's ever had a "definitive" live album in the way Judy Garland (for example) had "Judy at Carnegie Hall." I think The Concert is her live masterpiece--the pinnacle of her on stage shows, but it definitely works better as a DVD. "I'll Know" and the therapist dialogues fall flat on CD. I think Live in Concert may be the best bet, except for the lapse in judgement of performing Evergreen with Il Divo...and continuously switching languages. Grrrrrr.
